Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity founded in 1832 subscribe to 'manus multae cor unum' - many hands, one heart. As a national organization they expect each chapter to contribute to the intellectual atmosphere of their campus and to their members. 

In an article published in Psychology TodayCan physical activities Improve Fluid intelligence?, scientist link fitness  with improved cognition in healthy young adults. 'Fluid intelligence' is defined as "the capacity to think logically and solve problems in novel situations, independent of acquired knowledge."  Through extensive research it is indicated that certain hormones, which are increased during exercise, may help improve memory.  Pursuing non-academic activities such as aerobic exercise, and strength training are key to enriching not only cognition but someone's long-term success in life.

Alpha Delta Phi located in the heart of the University of Michigan campus just built a strength training facility in their frat house for their student members - strong bodies, strong minds, strong hearts.
