Biacromial Distance

Pendulum Lat Pull Combo

The lat pull-down is a popular compound exercise that athletes continually change grip width when training the upper back. Changing hand spacing relative to the biacromial distance (the width of the shoulders measured between the most lateral points of the two acromion processes) activates different areas of the back. The Pendulum Lat Combo in the above photo is set for a wide grip pull-down of approximately 1.5-2 times the biacromial width.

The Pendulum Lat Combo Pull handles are easy to adjust simply press the button at the top to disengage. Once released, place the handle on the other side of the workarm and begin a close grip pull-down. A quick changes brings about quick results when you are trying to Get Strong.

2-for-2 Method

Some trainers, coaches and athletes use what is called the 2-for-2 Method for increasing training load. The rule is if the trainee can perform two or more repetitions over one’s ‘repetition goal’ in the last set of an exercise, for two consecutive workouts, the weight is added for that particular exercise the next training session.
