Robert Morris played a critical role in American history in the fight to win and secure our nation’s independence. He was deemed the “Financier of the Revolution,” as he traded flour and tobacco for guns, powder and blankets to supply our revolutionary patriots. Robert Morris when all was accomplished signed three of the nation’s principal documents: the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution.
