MVP | DRIVE video drills | Week 4

Rogers is excited to release a new 16-part video drill series featuring the MVP | DRIVE mobile tackling dummy.

With an emphasis on teaching heads-up, safe tackling technique, here are a couple of quick drills to use with the MVPDRIVE mobile unit to help evaluate players before going live at practice or leading up to a game.

First, using the MVPDRIVE as the ball carrier, have the player work on proper body position and appropriate attacking angles. Making sure feet are moving with head up while engaging the target and tackling thru it.

Next, work on avoiding traffic and misdirection by the offense. Start out with your players back to the MVPDRIVE, so they have to find the ball carrier while working on angles to the right and left.

The player has to focus on tackling the MVP | DRIVE correctly and simulate keeping your opponent from gaining positive yards.
