Suspension Training

A man working out

When you are ‘stuck’ at home with limited resources it is important to be innovative. The following is how some have made a makeshift suspension trainer for the upper back muscles.

Tie a secure knot at one end of one or two bed sheets

Twist the bed sheet so it is like a cord

Place the knot on the side of the door so when the exercise begins the door is being pulled shut

Lock the door

Test for strength of sheets and footing

Lean back at a 45 degree angle and do a pulling movement
