There are numerous exercises that coaches and athletes use to target the upper back muscles when training. Many of these movements can be accomplished on the Pendulum 3-Way Row, a unique device designed for a variety of actions.
The athlete sits on the 3-Way Row facing the chest pad leaning forward with their feet behind their knees.
This posture when grasping the vertical handles places the trainee on the machine at an angle which addresses axial rotation about the longitudinal axis of his or her arm. The vertical handle grips are purposed to slightly rotate during the rowing movement to keep stress on the upper back's targeted musculature.
Additionally, the row machine has underhand grip handles for lower latissimus and scapula movements, as well as an overhand gripping arm for training the posterior shoulder and upper back muscles.
All exercises can be done bilaterally or unilaterally. ‘Set Extension Technology’ provides ‘range limitation’ for any exercise giving the athlete the ability to include drop sets, giant sets, negatives and much much more.
A great way to Get Strong.
