The architecture, anatomy and biomechanics of the hamstrings is varying and complex. Tendon lengths, pennation of the fibers, attachments all effect power, strain and injury risk.
Many exercises designed for the hamstrings do not cover the entire function of it’s semimembranosus, semitendinosus and bicep femoris ‘long and short head’ and may not provide the same stimulus for all components of the muscle group. When training targeting specific areas of the hamstrings offers additional benefits for injury prevention or rehabilitation.
Having the pictured Pendulum tools in your facility will assure a strong posterior leg and the ability to rehabilitate specific regions if injury were to occur. Get Pendulum to Get Strong.
