From Start to Finish

As an athlete or a coach you want to make sure you are  getting all from each repetition and the exercise that is prescribed. To ensure this is happening, periodically at the end of a training session the athletes are often instructed to complete the workout with what has been deemed a ‘finisher’.

By definition to finish means – “bring (a task or activity) to an end; complete.” –  Adding a high intensity movement that requires the use of the musculature that was trained during the workout helps ensure that each muscle group was exercised to its fullest as defined ‘to its end.’

A great exercise to complete a training session is the addition of the Pendulum Rope Pull. The Pendulum rope pulling  movement can be set up anywhere or down the Power Racks’ stanchion. The Rope Pull is also able to rotate 90 degrees and can be adjusted for tension and angle to perform a wide variety of exercises.

Cranking down the tension and having the athlete drag the rope from one end to the other following a workout is a great way to ‘finish’ and Get Strong.
