Kinematics and Kinetics
Kinematics and kinetics are used to determine the forces acting on the body. Greater neck strength and activating the neck muscles in bracing for impact reduces the athlete’s risk of concussion and other head and neck injuries during a collision by attenuating the head’s kinematic response after impact. This is true whether one is a male or female.

Not only is neck training for safety, it is as important as any other system in our human structure for athleticism. “Where the head goes the body follows.” – is an axiom that supports that eye and head movement is critical for reorientation of the head, trunk and legs. Having strong powerful head and neck muscles aids in movement and is extremely important in becoming the best athlete one can become.
